Start cramming: Intermediate exams start from 30th

Lahore BISE says that the preparations to hold the examinations will be completed soon.

LAHORE: The annual intermediate examinations for 2014 will begin from April 30 across the province, the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education announced in a statement released on Monday. It stated that the exam was held in May last year because of the general elections. This year, the BISE has decided to hold examinations in April. Lahore BISE Chairman Dr Nasrullah Virk has said that the preparations to hold the examinations, including the scrutiny of candidates’ admission forms, will be completed soon. The chairman has directed the board to ensure that candidates are allocated examination centres close to their residence.
