MANSEHRA: Three people were killed and five injured when a jeep fell into a gorge near Gulmera on Saturday evening. A police official said the vehicle was en route to Gulmera from Garhi Habibullah with eight passengers on board when it swerved out of control and plunged into a ravine. Two people were killed on the spot and six injured. Rescue workers moved the bodies and the injured to Garhi Habibullah Hospital where no doctor was available. The injured were then taken to King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra but by that time one of them succumbed to his injuries. Villagers later ransacked the hospital over the unavailability of doctors and protested outside the area’s police station.
