Misappropriation: Two GEPCO officials arrested

Senior civil judge also orders a two-day physical remand of the suspects for recovery.

GUJRANWALA: Two Gujranwala Electric Power Company (Gepco) officials were arrested on Saturday for issuing transformers on fake documents. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said Deputy Director Inspector Ghulam Rasool arrested SDO Amjad Rasheed and SDO Aashiq Hussain Bhatti. Federal Investigation Agency said the men had sold Wapda electricity transformers bought on fake documents. Senior civil judge Sayyed Azhar Ali on Saturday also ordered a two-day physical remand of the suspects for recovery.
