The fire, which reportedly erupted because of a short circuit, was brought under control after hour-long rescue work.
The building, Century Plaza, housed money changers, computer shops and travel agencies.
Four people - present on the floor when the fire broke out – were rescued and shifted to a hospital for medical assistance.

Shopkeepers in the area claimed that fire-extinguishing equipment was not available in the building.
In a recent incident on March 26, three people were killed when fire broke out in a shopping plaza in Lahore.

What a Justice, CM took notice, ....
I have seen the whole burning process from my office as this building is almost 50-100 meters away from our office building. The fire took a long time to lit, it almost took half hour from smoke to burning. The fire extinguish companies should reach earlier, although late but they fought hard against the fire which must be praised.
Another important issue with any accident is that, people stop there and just watching the show and not doing anything that results in traffic jams which is itself another issue for fire extinguishers in reaching late.
Takes note...........what in god's name does that mean. If he follows up and does something visible about it, it would mean something.
We really have to elect true and honest representative for our country, If we want any betterment, otherwise just get used to things like that. No hope by ruling elite as already ruling since 6 years.

Why can't our "leaders" be pro active and legislate and empower police to stop such incidents before them happening rather than acting after the tragedy.
Such incidents happen when rules not follow .. We have no accountability for any mishap in Pakistan.
