Customs officials foil bid to smuggle heroin to UK through the International Mail Office in Chaklala.

ISLAMABAD: Customs officials on Monday foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to the United Kingdom through the International Mail Office in Chaklala and registered a case against the sender. When a parcel of 12 boxes of sweets destined for Birmingham was checked by customs officials, they found that four of the boxes contained heroin. The police have registered cases against the suspect and the sweets company, an official said.
