Of the funds released, Rs37.25 billion has been released for various projects under the Pakistan energy commission; the commission's total allocation for the fiscal year is Rs52.3 billion. The national highway authority has received Rs32.8 billion out of a total allocation of Rs63 billion for the current fiscal year.
Out of the total funds of Rs 25.739 billion allocated for the national health service regulations and coordination division for the current year, the government released Rs17.828 billion so far.
The commission also released Rs18.884 billion for railways, out of its total allocations of Rs30.965 billion whereas Rs570 million have been released for national food security and research division, out of its total allocations of Rs750 million for the year.
Funds of Rs12.100 billion have been released for higher education commission, out of its total allocation of Rs18.490 billion for the year 2013-14 whereas out of total allocations of Rs2.364 billion earmarked for law, justice and parliamentary affairs division, Rs1.158 billion have been released so far.
According to the data, the Commission released Rs38.102 billion for Wapda (Power) out of its total allocations of Rs51.543 billion whereas Rs25.871 billion has been provided to Wapda (Water Sector) out of its total allocations of Rs57.840 billion.
Meanwhile, Rs8.579 billion has been released for earthquake reconstruction and rehabilitation authority (ERRA), out of its total allocations of Rs10,000 million for the current year.
The commission also released Rs1.453 billion for cabinet division, Rs34.839 million for climate change division and Rs553.700 million for commerce division.
In addition, Rs342.343 million has been released for education and training division, Rs4.283 billion for finance division, Rs436.572 million for industries division, Rs4.166 million for interior division and Rs102.988 million for narcotics control division.
The commission, released Rs35 million for petroleum and natural resources division, Rs212.100 million for planning and development division, Rs868.042 million for science and technology research division, Rs136.262 for Suparco and Rs220.490 million for textile industry division.
Funds of Rs8.955 billion have been released for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (block and other projects), Rs4.777 billion for Gilgit-Baltistan (block and other projects) whereas Rs11.031 billion has been released for Safron, Fata.
The commission said it released 20 per cent of funds in first quarter (July-September), 20 per cent in second quarter (October-December), 30 per cent in the third quarter(January-March) and 30 per cent will be released in the fourth quarter (April-June).
