Murder: Man awarded death penalty
Falak Sher, who was convicted of murder, was also fined Rs100,000.
FAISALABAD:
Additional District and Sessions Judge Farrukh Hameed on Saturday awarded death penalty to a man convicted of murder. According to the prosecution, Falak Sher, a resident of Loona Bhattian, had murdered a woman, Faizan Bibi, over a property dispute. Judge Hameed also fined Sher Rs100,000. The sentence will be increased by an additional six months in case the convict fails to pay.
