Extortion: Trader’s house targeted

A case was registered against unknown persons.

RAWALPINDI: Explosives planted outside a trader’s house in Ratta Amral went off on Monday, but no injuries were reported. Muhibullah, a resident of Bajaur Agency, said the gate of his house as well as windows and walls were damaged. He said he received a threatening call, demanding that he pay the caller Rs1 million. “I ignored the call and today the incident took place.” A police team collected evidence. A case was registered against unknown persons.
