Industrial expo: Traders warn to launch protest drive

Traders claim capital had signed an agreement with TAC for not allowing any industrial exhibition in the city.

The capital’s traders have threatened to launch a protest campaign against an industrial exhibition being organised in Islamabad next month, said a press release. Traders Action Committee organising Secretary Ajmal Baloch claimed that the capital administration had signed an agreement with TAC for not allowing any industrial exhibition in the city. He said Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce was reportedly planning to organise an industrial exhibition in the Convention Center, next month in violation of the agreement. He called on the administration and CDA chairman to cancel the permission given for the exhibition otherwise they will be responsible for any consequences.
