
A constable of the Frontier Reserve Police was killed along with his father by unidentified men in Gura Mehrban village on Monday.
According to an official of Chowdwan police station, the constable and his father were riding a motorcycle when unidentified armed men opened fired at them, killing both on the spot. The deceased constable was identified as Dilawar and his father as Rehmatullah, belonging to the Gandapur tribe.
A police team reached the site and began a search operation but the culprits had managed to escape, said the police official. A case against unidentified persons was later registered.
Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled body was recovered from Galuti, DI Khan, said an official of Yarak police station. The deceased was identified as Angor Khan and a case was registered at the police station on his brother’s complaint.
