Following the CNG Association’s decision to close CNG stations in Punjab in an act of protest against the loadshedding schedule in the region, gas supply was meant to be blocked for Wednesday, but according to reports gas unavailability will continue till Thursday.
Stations in South Punjab have already been closed for three consecutive days following the closure of gas supply for that period.
Meanwhile, heavy fares for public transport are being charged from passengers.
More than 300 CNG stations have been closed in Multan and other parts of South Punjab.
