PESHAWAR: Former senator Abdur Rehman was handed into police custody for a day, along with his son Imdadur Rehman, by Peshawar High Court’s Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Ilyas on Friday. The two were arrested on charges of killing the former senator’s brothers, Abdul Wadud and Ishaq, within the jurisdiction of Chamkani police station on Thursday. The court was requested to give the accused into police custody for ten days in order to complete the investigation but the court sent  only approved remand for one day.
