Property dispute: Man beats up sister-in-law, nieces

Police said Sardar Ali and his accomplices beat them up when they refused to vacate the family house.

VEHARI: A woman and her three daughters were beaten up allegedly by their relative over a property dispute in Chak 4/WB, Vehari on Thursday. Police said Sardar Ali and his accomplices Muhammad Yousuf, Sajid Ali, Muhammad Tariq and Shaukat beat up Rasheedan Bibi, Ali’s sister-in-law, and her daughters Shabeena Bibi, Rubeena Bibi and Shabana Bibi when they refused to vacate the family house. Rescue 1122 officials told the media that women were taken to Vehari district headquarters hospital where their condition was later reported to be critical. District Police Officer Sadiq Dogar said Sardar Ali had been arrested.
