Plots allotted to judges through the PM secretariat
PM Secretariat issues letter to Housing Foundation under judges' names.
ISLAMABAD:
According to PM Secretariat letter No (PMS-1-082, 083,084 &085)-HF, Justice Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Faqir Mohammad Khokhar, Justice Javed Iqbal Buttar and Justice Syed Saeed Ashad were allowed plots in D-12/2 on 18.1.2008 after the PM Secretariat issued a letter to the Housing Foundation in their name. Three judges, Justice Sardar Mohammad Raza Khan, Justice Shakirullah Jan and Tasaddiq Hussain Jilani, were allotted plots on 28.11.2008 in D-12 in compliance with PM secretariat letters numbers PMS-1-117,118 &119)/-HF.
Eight more SC judges – Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Falak Sher, Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday, Justice Syed Jamshed Ali, Justice Syed Zahid Hussain, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice Ghulam Rabbani and Justice Javed Iqbal were allotted plots on 19.11.2009 in sector D-12 on the orders of PM Secretariat numbers PMS—1-203, 202, 201, 205, 207, 204, 206 & 200/ HF. Justice Ch Ijaz Ahmed has quite recently been allotted plot number 188 A, in D-12/4 on May 5, 2010, in line with the PM Assistance Package.
Apart from these judges, the following judges were also given two plots in Islamabad in violation of the government’s one-plot policy. The beneficiaries of these questionable allotments are (1) Mr Justice Mansoor (former secretary law) who first got plot no. 804 in G G14/3 on 4.9.04. He was given a second plot, no. 285 in D-12/2 on 2.1.06. (2) Justice Mohammad Nawaz Abbasi first got plot no. 401 in D-12/2 on 18.1.2008. He also got another plot, no. 29 in G-13/2 on 21.9.2009. (3) Justice Mohammad Javed Buttar got one plot, no 60 in G-14/3 on 15.9.2004. He was given a second plot, no. 397 in D-12/2 on 18.1.2008. (4) Justice Syed Saeed Arshad first got a plot, no. 58 in G-14/3, in 2004. He was then given another plot, no. 405 in D-12/2 in 2008. (6) Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar (chief justice) first got plot no. 268 in D-12/3 in 2008. He got another plot, no. 43, on 21.9.2009 in G-13/4. (7) Justice Sardar Raza Khan first got plot no. 62 in G 13/4 on 21.9.1999. He was given a second plot, no. 273, on 28.1.2008 in D-12/4. (8) Sardar Mian Shakirullah Jan first got plot no. 1385 in G-14/4 on 29.5.2002. He was given a second plot, no. 214, in D-12/4 on 28.11.2008. (9) Justice Tasaddiq Hussain Jilani first got plot no. 1401 in G-14/4 on 18.12.2002. He was given a second plot, no. 290, in D-12/4 on 28.1.2008. (10) Justice Nasirul Mulk was first given plot no. 7 on 9.10.2004. He got a second plot, no. 57, in D-12/4 on 19.11.2009. (11) Justice (r) Falak Sher first was first allotted plot no. 97 in G-13/3 on 2.8.2005. He was given a second plot, no. 331, in D-12/4 on 19.11.2009. (12) Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday was first allotted a plot on 4.9.2004 in G-14/3. He then was given a second plot, no. 229 in D-12/3, on 19.11.2009. (13) Justice (r) Syed Jamshed Ali also first got a plot in G-14/3 on 4.9.2004. A second plot, no. 230, was allotted to him in D-12/4 on 19.11.09. (14) Justice Syed Zahid Hussain was also allotted two plots – first in G-14/3 on 21.10.2004, and then plot no. 188 in D-12/2 on 19.11.2009.
