According to a handout issued from the Central Police Office, Muhammad Sadiq, a resident, had complained to the IGP that the police raided his house and took away valuables and Rs60,000 in cash.
The case was referred to DIG Inquiry and Inspection who found the complaint to be genuine and suggested strict action against the two policemen after which the IGP ordered the suspension of the two officials.
