Busted: Suspected militant arrested

When the car stopped, two suspected militants managed to escape while their accomplice was taken into custody.

KOHAT: The police arrested a suspected militant and seized a huge cache of arms from him on Tuesday.

The officials of the Cantt police station claimed they were at a check post near Sor Gul Graveyard when they asked men in a vehicle to stop.

He said that when the car stopped, two suspected militants managed to escape while their accomplice, a man identified as Rab Nawaz, was taken into custody.

He added that they recovered 26 kilogrammes of explosives, a 19-yard-long detonator card, 13-yard-long safety fuse, 16 remote receivers, nine battery caps, three Kalashnikov magazines, 38 cartridges and a pistol.
