Two on the run: Three alleged rapists arrested
The police confiscated one Kalashnikov and 20 cartridges from the accused men.
SHO Afsar Khan said 23-year-old Mumtaz*, a resident of Qilla Ahmadabad, Punjab told them a woman identified as Noor* called her to Kohat on the pretext of giving her a job.
Mumtaz added that when she reached Kohat on Wednesday, Noor handed her over to a person indentified as Babar* who, she claimed, took her to an apartment in Chishmajat near Jangal Khel.
Mumtaz alleged that Babar and four of his friends raped her there. Afsar said the police raided the apartment in response to her complaint and arrested Babar and two others, while a search for their remaining accomplices is under way.
The police also confiscated one Kalashnikov and 20 cartridges from the accused men.
