Kamal Hyat’s solo show from March 3

Hyat received early training under Moyeene Najmi, one of the pioneers of the modern art movement in Pakistan.

LAHORE:

A solo exhibition of paintings by Kamal Hyat will open at the Alhamra Art Gallery from March 3 [Monday].

Hyat, an active member of the Artists’ Association of Punjab since 1998, has had several solo exhibitions of his paintings in Islamabad and Karachi.

He received his early training and guidance under Moyeene Najmi, one of the pioneers of the modern art movement in Pakistan.

Later, he was fortunate to work under the guidance of renowned artist and landscape specialist Khalid Iqbal.

Since 1995, Kamal Hyat has been regularly displaying his works at the Alhamra Art Gallery.

The exhibition will go on till March 8.
