Annual exhibition: Behold - the gems of Pakistan

The three-day exhibition featured more than 85 stalls displaying products.

Housing mountain ranges and land belts rich in various minerals and precious gems, Pakistan has tons of unearthed wealth. A testament to such bounteous beauty came in the form of the fourth Gems and Jewellery Annual Exhibition being held in Islamabad.


Arranged by the Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) and the Ministry of Industries and Production, the three-day exhibition featured more than 85 stalls displaying the products, said a press release.

The inauguration ceremony of the exhibition was chaired by Gilgit-Baltistan Mines and Minerals Secretary Hussnain Ali Raza, who emphasized the need for more of such exhibitions held around the country, in order to promote the industry.

Participants at the exhibit included individuals and companies from the four provinces, the federal capital as well as G-B. The event attracted a bevy of people including women, jewellers.
