
Kolson is already well recognised in Gulf countries and Bangladesh, with an increasing presence in Afghanistan, said Saifuddin Sistanwala, Chief Executive Officer of Kolson.
The strategic alliance with Lotte Confectionery will help expand into the lucrative Central Asian countries, he added.
Meanwhile, for Lotte, the alliance with Kolson “offers strong potential to growth” since Pakistan offers access to a “promising market of 170 million consumers,” said JW Lee, Director Lotte Confectionery.
