Crisis response: Rescue 1122 to establish five centres

It is decided that the centres would be established in Saidu Sharif, Matta, Barikot, Takhtaband and Madyan.

SWAT: Five centres of Rescue 1122 will be established in Malakand Division. This was decided in a joint meeting of Rescue 1122 and Malakand Deputy Commissioner (DC) on Sunday. The rescue service’s director general, Malakand DC as well as other government officials were in attendance. It was decided that the centres would be established in Saidu Sharif, Matta, Barikot, Takhtaband and Madyan to respond to any untoward incident as well as to reduce fatalities which result from natural disasters and calamities. The DC directed relevant officials to begin the process of land acquisition for the proposed centres.
