The university administration had locked three students R*, H* and N* in their rooms since last night and allegedly threatened them with serious consequences. No food or water was available in their rooms.
After 16 hours, other students of the university are said to have broken the locks of the rooms and freed two of the three students while the third student was got freed by court officials.
N told Express News that their hostel membership was cancelled by the administration after they had protested against mistreatment.
She further stated that the three of them got a stay order from the court regarding their hostel membership being cancelled.
She also said that when the administration came to remove them from the hostel, they showed the stay order after which they were locked in their rooms.
Security in charge of the hostel allegedly threatened other students with strict action if they tried to contact the three of them, N stated.

Bhai don't be surprised on the 8 years count, do the math; 4 years in Bsc, 2 Years in Masters, 5 years in Phd, this woman shall spend her 11 years in the University.

The audacity, wilful disobedience, and strong arm tactics of the hostel admin must be IMMEDIATELY AND SEVERELY PUNISHED UNDER THE LAW and sent home if not the jail. Compensation must be paid to the three girls for the mental and physical torture suffered by them. Salams

. Another issue: Even in Europe, they give you hostel for only first year to adjust and then it is not guaranteed and mostly you have to find your own accommodation. A girl is living in University hostel for 8 years? Does she want to spend her life there????
According to one national newspaper report, the student was not following rules and was staying late at night. Her parents were called and she was expelled after various warning. . According to those reports, she made this 'drama' to attract attention. I don't know if I have read this in Jang newspaper or Express Urdu newspaper of today.
Plz tell the details about their behaviour in University? where they involved in ....? or it was an inhuman act by the hostel warden...?
Wardens think they have all the power and no accountability..what's going to happen to these poor law students after they get back to their lives? Will their professors pass them in their exams?

The message clearly is : if you are female, you have no business in this "Islamic" university. These misogynists never fail to soil the name of our faith. as for A No 1, you probably belong in the administration of this university, given your prejudices so lauded by many readers.

What in the world is Higher Education Commission (HEC) for? I mean come on isn't the country going through crises already that we have to bear the consequence for silence of HEC? Isn't 57billion budget enough for them?
Presumably the hostel administration is all female. Same mindset. Nothing changes in this land of the pure.
