Loud bang: Grenade thrown at former MPA’s hujra

Window panes of religious seminary and adjacent houses were damaged by hand grenade in Javed Town, Gulbahar.

PESHAWAR: The window panes of a religious seminary and adjacent houses were damaged when unidentified people threw a hand grenade in Javed Town, Gulbahar on Wednesday night. The police said the seminary is located inside the hujra of former MPA Haji Javed. No casualties were reported as the grenade landed in the lawn and exploded. SP City Faisal Mukthair told journalists that it was a grenade attack and the seminary was adjacent to Haji Javed house.
