Shot on sight: Seven travelling tribesmen killed

MIRANSHAH: Seven tribesmen of a family were killed and three others were injured by unidentified armed men in Qutab Khel, Miranshah tehsil on Wednesday afternoon. An official of the political administration said 10 tribesmen were on their way to Norak village in Mirali from Miranshah when unidentified armed men travelling in a car intercepted their vehicle near Qutab Khel, five kilometres east of Miranshah, and opened fire. As a result, seven tribesmen were killed on the spot while the other three sustained injuries. The official said residents of the area rushed to the site after hearing gunshots and shifted the injured, along with the bodies, to Miranshah Headquarters Hospital.
