MULTAN: Keys to 22 houses were distributed among flood affected families in Muzaffargarh on Sunday. The houses have been constructed with donations from an England-based NGO, the Hampton Muslim Forum. The 22 houses are part of the 150 houses the NGO plans to construct in the area. Hampton Muslim Forum Chairman Raja Rab Nawaz distributed the keys among families affected in the 2010 and 2011 floods. Nawaz told The Express Tribune that both Muslim and non-Muslim citizens of the United Kingdom had contributed to the fund. The land for the houses was granted by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Each house has been constructed on seven marlas and includes basic facilities, he said.
