Police encounter: Vicky Kumar rescued, kidnapper arrested
Police arrest and recovered a Kalashnikov rifle from kidnapper's possession during the encounter.

Vicky Kumar, who was kidnapped from Dadwai Road Shikarpur 10 days ago, was safely rescued after an encounter with the kidnappers in Sahib Dino Jatoi village situated in Faizoo police station limits on Saturday evening. Police also arrested one of the kidnappers, Samiullah Badani Jatoi, and recovered a Kalashnikov rifle from his possession during the encounter. Shikarpur City ASP Kamran Nawaz told The Express Tribune that the kidnappers had kept Kumar hidden behind a high stacks of hay in the village and Jatoi had brought food for Kumar when the police seized the area. Jatao, after a brief encounter, surrendered to the police while other kidnappers escaped.
