Questionable recruitments: FRP deputy commandant made OSD

According to official handout complaints were sent to IGP regarding irregularities in FRP’s recruitment process.

PESHAWAR: IGP Nasir Khan Durrani has made the deputy commandant of Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) after taking notice of irregularities in the recruitment process of FRP. According to an official handout, several complaints had been sent to the IGP regarding irregularities in FRP’s recruitment process in July 2013. A two-member inquiry team, comprising Additional IGP Investigation Shaukat Hayat and DIG Kohat Dr Ishtiaq Marwat, has been ordered to probe the matter thoroughly and send its report to the IGP directly.
