‘Illegal’ appointment: Govt’s reply sought in WAPDA case
Petitioner Aslam Masood Siddiqui says WAPDA chairman and 2 members have been appointed in violation of rules.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Thursday sought a reply from the federal government on a petition challenging appointments of WAPDA chairman and two members. The court directed the federal government to submit a reply by February 28. Petitioner Aslam Masood Siddiqui said the WAPDA chairman and two members had been appointed in violation of rules. He requested the court to take notice of the violation of and issue directions to federal government to remove the chairman and two members.
