PIA: Hayat named director flight operations

The selection committee was headed by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Aviation Shujat Azeem.

LAHORE: Capt Qasim Hayat has been appointed director flight operations for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after the recommendation of the selection committee, said a press release. The selection committee, headed by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Aviation Shujat Azeem, conducted interviews of the shortlisted candidates, who were directed to give professional presentations for the revival of PIA. On the basis of merit, the committee recommended selection of Hayat and PIA issued notification for his appointment.
