LAHORE: Nigerian High Commissioner in Islamabad Dauda Danladi has said that the Nigerian market has a huge potential for Pakistani products. Rice, textile products, pharmaceutical and agricultural machinery including tractors could be exported to Nigeria, he suggested. “Pakistan has promised to take business delegations to Nigeria, which will pave the way for frequent business exchanges between the two countries,” Danladi said, while speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). He expressed the optimism that trade between Pakistan and Nigeria would get a new boost as both were planning to sign trade-related agreements including the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) very soon. Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Engineer Sohail Lashari said Pakistan’s business community was well aware of the market size of Africa and Nigeria could serve as the best destination to exploit the potential.
