Things to come?: Murree road U-turn closure sparks protest

Due to the protest, a massive traffic jam was seen on the road.

A large number of traders and citizens staged a protest demonstration against the closure of the Naz Cinema U-turn on Benazir Bhutto Road here on Tuesday. Protesters, led by the Furniture Traders Association members from Khanna Road, Kohati Bazaar and Circular Road, shouted slogans against the district government.

They demanded that the local administration immediately open the U-turn.


Due to the protest, a massive traffic jam was seen on the road. A large numbers of residents of adjoining areas also demanded that the U-turn be reopened.
