Escalating: GE expands operations in Pakistan
GE to localize and support Pakistan’s long-term growth goals by establishing its third office in country.
ISLAMABAD:
General Electric (GE) has strengthened its presence in Pakistan by establishing its third office in the country in Karachi, with two other offices in Lahore and Islamabad. GE’s President and Chief Executive Officer for Pakistan Sarim Sheikh said that the opening of the office in Karachi reflects GE’s growth aspirations in the country, and its commitment to be more responsive to its customers. “Opening our third office in the country highlights our sustained focus on investing in Pakistan and partnering with the country to address its most pressing challenges,” he said, adding that the office will also promote localisation and support Pakistan’s long-term growth goals.
