Here’s a trend that’s been taking Hollywood by storm. From Blake Lively to Alicia Keys, leading ladies have been spotted wearing what have become known as the tuxedo stripe pants. They could be skinnies, or straight cut, but they have one defining factor — one single, solid line running down each side.

We like! The trend is simple enough not to look like you’re trying too hard, and fashion friendly for all body types. Another perk, any colour goes! You could go for a basic black and white like Blake Lively, or a wild leopard print, neon yellow combination as worn by blogger Chaira Ferragni.



There is really no limit, and this trend can be worn not only by blocking colours, but also with different materials. Why not have a shimmery or sequined strip sewn onto a pair of pants you’re starting to get bored of? Alternatively, grab some fabric paint.
