Desperate measures: Dengue experts to learn from Punjab

Siddiqui told the meeting that all deputy commissioners will play a central role in the new strategy.

KARACHI: The city administration has adopted a new strategy to cope with dengue and will send a team of experts to the Punjab to learn how the province coped with the virus. During a meeting at the commissioner’s office, attended by health secretary Iqbal Hussain Durrani and commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, a monitoring committee was also formed. Siddiqui told the meeting that all deputy commissioners will play a central role in the new strategy.
