Grisly: Body found

RAWALPINDI: The body of a man whose throat had been slit was found from the rooftop of his neighbour’s house in Ghangi Mullah in the limits of Waris Khan Police Station. Police said that Muhammad Rizwan, 26, had been killed by unidentified persons on Tuesday night.

The deceased’s mother, Naseem Ashraf, lodged a case with the police saying Rizwan went to sleep on Tuesday night and was missing the next morning. They tried to call his cell phone, but he did not respond. Finally, they also alerted the neighbours and found the body from the rooftop of a neighbour’s house. The deceased’s mother nominated Muhammad Ishfaq and his accomplices in the FIR. Police said that a few months back, Rizwan’s wife had also gone missing from her house and Rizwan had lodged a kidnapping case against them. However, the woman later returned home. Police have started investigations.
