Under the project, the real estate giant will allot plots to more than 0.5 million people. On the first day of booking, more than 50 thousand people received the form against a fee of Rs1,000.
The demand was such that some people reportedly resold their forms at a profit.
People from all walks of life showed great interest in the BT project and long queues of citizens were seen at the booking offices till late at night.
Talking to Express News, people said even the VIPs were found standing in queues, and the credit for this went to the founder and chairman of Bahria Town, Malik Riaz Hussain.
The BT representative said Sunday was reserved for the distribution of forms for residential plots. “The booking forms for commercial plots will to be offered on Monday (today),” he added.

I am very surprised with the comments because it is the largest real estate company in Pakistan. So much scams and so much lack of service.
do not trust on bahria or malik riaz. look at their track record (previous projects) dha valley which was supposed to develop by bahria by the end of 2011 and still not developed and they have no plan to builed it in near future as well. so if you invest in their project you must be stupid

we all know this is not right that is happening but we all r buying the plots even I am in united states as a business man I am having numerous opportunities of making money but I am planning to buy 6 plots residential and commercial .. even I know . if you c the above chart smaller plots r more expensive per square yard than bigger so poor customer have to pay more. a part from this their r several projects on super highway which r uncompleted and some r closed or fail how come bahria which is far away from main Karachi .keep in mid KARACHI dynamics r different than ISLAMABAD .In karachi you can not go out at night time but in Islamabad no problem I was their last week.
it can be a boom boom project or ? Hope for the best only invest what you can afford to hold for at least next 5 years before your see any handsome reward .

I am also among those who have lost faith, as we have no place to go, to ask and say, I got 10Marla plot of BT ISD phase 9. Phase 9 is not born yet since I got it in 2008 . I am still sitting on a piece of paper and no one bothers to reply .What happened to our money , its growing some where or gone with the wind. Please Malik Raiz sb have mercy on us and tell your staff to atleast reply to our emails and attend the phone calls.Thank
Those who want to buy plots in Bahria Town,first need to know about the history and scandals of Bahria town who has plundered the hard earned money of Pakistanis in dha valley,awami villas,8 phases scam. Uptill now since last 17 years, Bahria town can deliver only 10% plots to allottee and 90% allottes hard earned money was plundered.
Is it true, but want our departments are doing against this mega corruption scandal ? I think that Government as well as Government Intuitions are involved in this mega corruption, no body can take action against them as the authorities of accountability are with Behria Town. Thousands of peoples have been deprived from their amount, but unfortunately nobody take responsibility against this corruption. Another fact of this country is that there is not law of well-to-do persons/families, they are free to do anything in this country, only common masses have been forced to abide the law. it means that there is no law for rich families / individuals.
This is not fair what will happened to those people who purchase Residential, commercial, Apartments and homes forms on first day in black i hear some people purchase forms in 15000.00 fifteen thousand, 10000.00 ten thousand, & 5000.00 five thousand.......... But the actual price of the form is one thousand only 1000.00 it means BAHRIA TOWN is not stable yet.
I was thinking to purchase plot in Bahria town if any one can guide me i'll be very thankful to him or her!!!
Bahria has announced that booking forms can be downloaded from its website and can be submitted with 1000/- booking fees. This solved the issue of black marketing of these forms to much extent. Those who do not use internet, they will need to rely on how agents deal with them.
Since its inception ,Out of Total bookings of about 350,000 at Rawalpindi & Lahore, less than 35,000 units are under completion/being handed over so far. 90 % are still waiting from years......Now is this the beginning of a new game in Karachi ?.........
I agree with the comment above. What was the point of the whole registration exercise? Just an excuse for Malik sb and his cronies (read estate agents) to make windfall profits. We the honest buyers were duped by the promise that bioking forms will be mailed to our egoist erred address.. If Malik sb is reading this he must know that fortune made by fooling people doesn't last long??I will surely get rid of my "paper plot" at first chance and move to DHA city. At lest the army men don't commit such day light defraud..no wonder people prefer DHA
