An additional district and sessions judge on Friday fixed February 8 for recording statements of prosecution witnesses in a drug case against an alleged Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan member.
At the previous hearing, the judge had framed the charges.
There has been no development in the drug trial of Sakhi Shah in two years largely owing to the case being transferred several times.
According to the FIR registered by Shahdara police in February 2010, Sakhi Sinha was part of a TTP team planning to attack Pearl Continental hotel.
They were arrested by the police at Saggian Bridge. Explosive jackets and hand grenades were recovered from their possession. The police also seized four kilogrammes hashish from Shah. Cases were registered against him under the Anti-Terrorism Act, the Explosives Act and the Control of Narcotic Substances Act.
