Alleged corruption: Elite Force official suspended
Complaints received against police official for involvement in corruption, nepotism, dubious dealing with smugglers.
An Elite Force DSP in Bannu was suspended by IGP Nasir Khan Durrani for his alleged involvement in corruption and an inquiry was launched against him on Monday. According to a press release issued from the IGP’s office, several complaints were received against the police official for being involved in corruption, nepotism and dubious dealing with smugglers. The statement mentioned that initial reports and an inquiry had found the charges to be factual after which the official was suspended and a special inquiry initiated against him.
