With the provincial government getting ready to launch a project in Jalozai, internally displaced persons (IDPs) from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas were told they were not being kicked out of the camps, but just being relocated from one end of the camp to another. Provincial Disaster Management Authority’s Director General Muhammad Tahir Orakzai on Friday told a delegation of Fata IDPs living at the Jalozai camp that steps would be taken to facilitate them. Orakzai said the tribesmen were guests of the province and he planned to have meetings with human rights organisations to discuss and chalk out plans to help the IDPs with basic facilities such as food, education and health.
