Compensation: Chaudhry Aslam’s son to join police dept

Chief Minister assures Aslam's widow of Sindh govt's support.

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah visited the house of the slain police officer, Chaudhry Aslam, and handed over a cheque of Rs20 million as compensation to his family. The CM assured the spouse of Aslam of the government’s support and announced to appoint Chaudhry’s son in police department as soon as he reached the required age for a government job. Chaudhry Aslam’s wife said, “My son will carry on the mission of his father and will take revenge from terrorists,” she said.
