Islamic University: Minister hails efforts for harmony

Matters pertaining to religious education were also discussed in the meeting.

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf assured support to International Islamic University (IIUI) in arranging conferences on interfaith harmony and religious topics. Talking to President IIUI, Dr Ahmed Yousif al Draiweesh, he lauded the role of IIUI in promoting interfaith harmony. Matters pertaining to religious education and role of educational institutions in maintaining peace and stability in society were also discussed in the meeting. Dr Yousif said educational institutions play significant role in curbing violence and IIUI is committed to this cause.
