LAHORE: Police recovered the body of a kidnapping victim, Qaisar Cheema, from a house in Lahore on Friday, Express News correspondent Muhammad Haroon reported.

Cheema was kidnapped for ransom in December by Yaqoob, Saleem and Khurram Gorsi, who is the son of a former deputy superintendent of police (DSP). The kidnappers were reportedly Cheema's friends.

Police discovered the location of the house by following a tip from Gorsi, who was arrested on January 8. Yaqoob, Saleem and Yaqoob's wife Bushra bibi have also been taken into custody.

The kidnappers, who are around 25-26 years in age, had demanded a ransom of Rs30,000,000 yesterday and had buried Cheema's body in the foundation of the house when their request was not met.
