Hangu attack: IGP asks gallantry award for Atizaz

Aitzaz Hasan sacrificed his life by stopping suicide bomber from entering school where 100s of students were present.

PESHAWAR: IGP Nasir Khan Durrani recommended that the government award Atizaz Hassan, the student of Govt High School Ibrahimzai, Hangu with highest civil award for his bravery and also provide financial aid to his family. In a letter sent to Chief Minister, the IGP suggested that the student be awarded with civil award as he sacrificed his life by stopping the suicide bomber from entering the school where hundreds of students were present. The bomber, resultantly blew himself up killing Atizaz Hassan on the spot in Ibrahim Zai, Hangu.
