KARACHI:

Commercial Counselor of Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai Dr Saeed Qadir has asked the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to send a delegation to Dubai in order to improve trade relations and create strong linkages between the business communities.

The request for sending a KCCI’s trade delegation to Dubai was made during a meeting with Junaid Esmail Makda, chairman of the international affairs sub-Committee KCCI on his recent visit to Dubai.

KCCI President Abdullah Zaki, while welcoming the invitation of Consulate General of Pakistan, assured that the chamber was keen to send a delegation to Dubai in order to promote Pakistani products and services, besides paving way for creating strong business linkages.

Qadir, during his meeting with Makda, stressed the need to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KCCI and Dubai Chamber, which should later on be signed with other UAE chambers to capitalise business and investment opportunities.
