The foreign minister is in Pakistan for a two-day official visit, during which he will meet with Pakistani leaders to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries, reported Radio Pakistan.
At the top of the agenda is suspension of the US-Taliban dialogue process for reconciliation. Also on the agenda is the future of Afghanistan once foreign troops withdraw later in 2014.
A Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the visit is part of a larger policy of Pakistan to strengthen ties with Muslim countries.

Saudi are very generous people and hold Pakistan very dear to them like their own child. The guest represent the holiest land people and must be accorded the highest respect and dignity. Had there been no Arabs,there would not have been Islam, Pakistan and the reward of this and after life. Use this opportunity to ask soical, religious, financial concession reminding him of the ancestral bonds with Arab people.
@Proud Pakistani Khan: There are lots of hateful people like you in Pakistan but thank God that majority of the people are kind- hearted and are civil to others. There are several naeem khans and couple of them are from India who write comments here. By the way I am from Mardan and a Pukhtun who has been living in Kansas since 1964 so it is home for me now and I don't feel any shame about mentioning it, at least you should appreciate that I have the gumption to use my real name and location, not like some of you who hide behind fake names. As far people who work menial jobs, believe me I have more respect for those people than the ones who has amassed their wealth by corruption and cheating the people and the country, there is this thing called work ethics and those who work should be proud of it regardless what kind of work they do, work is pride. Perhaps you could get off your high horse and respect those who work for living, personally I will not mind to dirty my hands because I don't feel that I am better than any one else and there are those who are less fortunate than me. For your information, I am a graduate from Kansas state University and proud of it.

I think the endian education system teaches kids to hate against Pakistan from a small age and that too in cowardly way (eg. commenting under a muslim name). Bravery and indians dont mix together well.

Pakistan's duplicitous policies have essentially eliminated it from participating in the Afghan end game discussions - now they are left with nobody to talk to except the Saudi's. The Saudi's extreme view of Islam is likely the primary reason for most of the violence in this region - one of those Elephant in the Room things that many can't seem to see - one of the reasons that the American's didn't consult them on the Afghan end game and one of the reasons that they can't/wont' provide any meaningful help when it comes to the Taliban or Afghanistan.

The Saudi Royal Prince must know that Pakistan is three times bigger than KSA in terms of population and has more freedom of speech with independent judiciary, well aware civil society, robust electronic media and hyperactive social media. Musharraf had lodged concocted cases against Nawaz Sharif BUT the case of high treason against Musharraf is very clear under article-6 of the Constitution of Pakistan. This is 21st century and foreign intervention from anywhere is not welcome at all !
