Pakistan offers nuclear fuel services

WASHINGTON:

Pakistan made an offer of nuclear fuel services at the two-day Nuclear Security summit which concluded in Washington on Tuesday.

The offer was contained in a national statement presented  by Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani. In the statement Pakistan said that it has acquired advanced nuclear fuel cycle capability and can offer it to the rest of the world under IAEA safeguards.

At the summit, Pakistan also reiterated its proposals for establishing a strategic restraint regime in South Asia. Gilani asserted that no country has raised any concern about Pakistan's nuclear safety.

Nadeem Gulzar Khan | 14 years ago | Reply Its a matter of great satisfaction that we have acquired advanced nuclear fuel cycle capability. There is no doubt in this fact that we are the most intelligent nation on earth. We can create miracles if we follow true spirit of our great religion i.e. honesty and hard working. Perhaps this why we are still unable to set for ourselves the real objectives of our progress and prosperity. We still have no electricity in our dear homeland. The lack of taking bold decisions is perhaps the main reason of this shortfall. We should not forget that we are nuclear capable nation and we can do everything without any outer help. So let us do wahat we haven't do yet. God bless us all.
