Target killing? Three killed in early morning gun attack in Karachi

Six people riding on three motorcycles fired at people gathered outside a juice store in Maskan.

KARACHI: At least three people were killed and four others were injured when armed assailants opened fire near a juice store in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi early on Saturday morning, Express News reported.

According to details, six, unidentified armed men riding on three motorcycles shot at people gathered near a popular juice store near Maskan intersection in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Some of those caught by the attack were sitting in a white high roof near the store.

Talking to the media, SSP East Pir Mohammad Shah said that 9mm pistols were used in the attack. However, Shah said that it was too early to comment on the motive of the attack.

The deceased were identified as Nadir, Ghulam Ali and Hussain Ali.

On December 7, 2014, at least three people associated with the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat were killed and one was injured when unidentified armed men opened fire at them outside another eatery in the same locality.

These three people were killed because they were shia.
