
“The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) was declared the best postgraduate institution in the world by Socrates Committee of Europe Business Assembly,” CPSP President Zafarullah Chaudhry told newsmen on Monday.
He said he had received the award in Oxford at a ceremony attended by scientists, academicians and medical educationists from 56 countries. Chaudhry said the award was an acknowledgement of the dedication and commitment of the country’s healthcare professionals. Professor Khalid Masood Gondal said monitoring system introduced by the CPSP had allowed supervisors to assess performance of their trainees. A dinner was hosted in honour of the CPSP delegation by the health minister of Ireland.
