Wanted: Two alleged militants held in Upper Dir

UPPER DIR: Two alleged militants, wanted for attacking a police station, were arrested in Jabarh area of Upper Dir on Sunday. Farooq Jan, an official of Gandi Gar police, said a police team raided a shop after intelligence reports indicated their presence in Jabarh Bazaar and arrested the two men. He said they were wanted in multiple cases of militancy. The alleged militants were identified as Ibadur Rahman alias Kohistani Mullah and Ibrahim Syed, both residents of Usherai Darra. Jan said both the suspects were involved in the attack on Gandi Gar police station in which two police officials were killed in 2009. Further investigation is underway, added the official.
