Protest: PTI condemns Karachi violence

PTI says encouraging violence in front of Bilawal House shows PPP leaders do not care for problems faced by citizens.

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhry and general secretary Yasmeen Rashid on Sunday condemned police action against PTI workers in Karachi. They said peaceful protest was a democratic right. They called for release of the arrested workers. They said people had lost faith in national institutions because of unending oppression. They said the PTI was protesting for implementation of court orders that the Sindh government was ignoring. They said, encouraging violence in front of Bilawal House, the PPP leaders had shown that they did not care for the problems faced by the average citizen.
